InnovateNB Award Finalists Announced

Innovators from across New Brunswick have been pushing boundaries, opening doors, raising capital, creating jobs and putting New Brunswick on the map across a variety of sectors. We are elated to be hosting hundreds of people in the innovation ecosystem at the inaugural InnovateNB Celebration on November 22nd in Saint John to celebrate them and their achievements.

We received an overwhelming response to our call for nominations and are excited to announce the finalists for each awards category:

Emerging Innovator

Diversity and Inclusion Champion

Productivity Improvement by Adapting Technology

Innovation in Academia and Research

Most Innovative Startup

Most Innovative Product or Service

Innovation Champion

Economic Impact through Innovation

On top of these 8 awards, the event will include the Premier’s Award for Innovation and the first induction into the InnovateNB Hall of Fame, presented by Mariner, which will celebrate New Brunswick’s most accomplished innovation leaders in our province. Each member of the Hall of Fame represents their own brand of successful innovation and will be recognized for their meaningful contribution to New Brunswick.

We'll also shine a spotlight on the winner of the “Ones to Watch” recognition at the award ceremony, which provides a special highlight on rising innovative individuals who show great promise in contributing to the spirit of innovation in New Brunswick.

"It has been inspiring to see all of the nominations for the InnovateNB awards roll in. These people and their achievements are a testament to the innovative spirit and abilities here in New Brunswick. On behalf of the event partners, we can’t wait to gather to recognize and celebrate them all.” says Cathy Simpson, CEO of TechImpact.
