InnovateNB Celebration Highlights Top New Brunswick Innovators
--Sold Out Awards Show Recognizes Innovators from all Sectors of New Brunswick’s Economy--
SAINT JOHN—The inaugural InnovateNB Celebration was a roaring success as a sold-out crowd honoured innovators from all sectors of New Brunswick’s economy. The event brought hundreds of participants from across New Brunswick and throughout Canada to Saint John to build relationships and explore pressing topics in innovation in a series of presentations and panels, capped off with the awards gala that saw the following winners recognized:

“The success of the innovators recognized tonight bodes well for New Brunswick’s future. We have people in start-ups, established businesses, not-for-profits, academia and government who are executing innovative solutions at the forefront of technology right here in New Brunswick. Their impact deserves to be celebrated,” said Cathy Simpson, CEO of TechImpact and one of the organizers of the InnovateNB Celebration. Other organizations that made the event a reality include the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), the McKenna Institute at the University of New Brunswick, Propel and Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency. “I want to thank the organizers who worked so hard to make this event a success and all the sponsors whose support made it possible.”
“We can’t wait to do it again next year in Fredericton,” Simpson concluded.
