NB Tech Pioneer Marcel LeBrun Announced as Keynote Speaker for Inaugural InnovateNB Celebration

We are so thrilled to announce this year’s Keynote Speaker at the 2022 InnovateNB Awards: Marcel LeBrun. Marcel’s vast entrepreneurial experience in the tech sector and beyond should prove to inspire and influence attendees in pursuit of their innovative aspirations.

About Marcel LeBrun

Who better to speak at the InnovateNB Celebration than one of New Brunswick’s most distinguished entrepreneurs? LeBrun’s early days were spent studying at the University of New Brunswick in pursuit of his Bachelor of Science, specializing in electrical and computer engineering, which served as a launchpad for his established innovative career. Since 1997, LeBrun has served in executive positions for a range of businesses, including President, CEO & Co-Founder of iMagicTV, Vice President at Alcatel, Vice President at Mariner Partners Inc., and CEO of the company he is perhaps most known for: Radian6 Technologies. LeBrun’s entrepreneurial career peaked in 2011 with the sale of Radian6 to Salesforce.com, on record as one of the biggest deals in Atlantic Canadian history. Marcel stayed on with Salesforce for a few years after the acquisition, after which he made the switch to exit the fast-paced entrepreneurial lifestyle in pursuit of other opportunities.

LeBrun’s impact on our province is not limited to the tech sector – his philanthropical and volunteer impact is just as impressive. Marcel is the Founder of 12Neighbours Community Inc., a not-for-profit group that builds tiny homes and a community of hope for brighter lives and futures in Fredericton, NB. He also sits as Chairperson of Potential Motors, an innovative motor vehicle manufacturing company that is changing the game with the electrification of off-road vehicles.

It is certain that Marcel has an enormous impact on each and every company he touches and we are eager to learn more about his entrepreneurial journey.
